Balinese Cattle

Descended from Southwest Asia Bateng cattle, these cows are used for meat and labor, noted for not being picky eaters, and having high fertility. Sadly, they are also plagued with low milk output, low birth weight, and high calf mortality. Their soft hooves can also cause difficulties.

Bali cows are typically a tawny brown with white 'stockings' from hoof to knee, and have short, outward curved horns. They are notably timid.

Art notes:

This cow is depicted wearing traditional (feminine) clothing worn during celebrations such as the Saka New Year.
