This design was laid out and cut on soft linoleum. It represents the notion of letting one’s dreams carry them through hard times, taking inspiration from the folkloric wisdom of counting sheep to go to sleep and weathering storms in hopes of brighter days.
Mulberry paper is lightweight but durable. Translucent but holds ink well. Recommended to mount with a white or black background. Artist statement about the piece is included with each print and available for viewing in the gallery.
